Big Idea

bigidea

By now, you’ve probably noticed we’re really into social innovation at CQUni – and why wouldn’t we be when we’ve got the power to empower people to make a difference, create an impact and influence the world in which we live, for the betterment of society?!

That’s one of the reasons we’re involved in the Big Idea competition each year. The Big Idea competition is an opportunity for you to engage in social innovation in a practical way.

The Big Issue is Australia’s longest standing and most significant social enterprise. The Big Issue runs a national competition at participating universities – The Big Idea – inviting students to develop a concept and business plan that might become the next ‘Big Issue’.

This is the fifth year running that CQUniversity has participated in the competition and to say we’re good at it, is putting in modestly as three of our CQUni teams have previously taken out first prize in their respective divisions.

Have you got a Big Idea that could change the world? If so, apply today.
Expressions of interest close Friday, 27 July.
