  1. Hi there, I would also like to start writing blogs. Please let me know the process.
I have always wanted to write, but never got a platform or never knew from where to start, and then suddenly I stumble upon the column in Student Broadcast. Would love to get this opportunity.
    Thanks
    Priyanka

    1. Hi Priyanka,

We will soon be recruiting for International Student Ambassador roles and one of the tasks is to write blogs for CQUniLife. We also often have guest blog spots if you want to write one off posts on a particular topic or experience. Let me know which option is of interest and I can forward you some details to apply.

      Thanks,

      Deirdre, CQUni

  2. Hi Deirdre,

Please forward me details. In the mean time, until the student ambassador has to be finalised, please let me know how i can be a guest blog spot as well.

    Thanks
    Priyanka

  3. hi..myself mohammed abdul suboor.I have applied to CQU for masters in information systems for the intake of march. As im a international student,so can i please get help from you regarding accomodation, expenses
    etc.

    1. Hi Mohammed,

Good to hear you will be studying with us. Can you tell me which campus you will be studying at so I can send you the right info?

      Thanks,

      Deirdre, CQUni

  4. Hi! My name is Angela and I’m from Jamaica
I have interest in applying to study at CQ. Can you explain what the transition process is like?

    1. Hi Angela,

Great to hear you are interested in studying at CQUniversity! Do you have any particular program in mind? You can see all our programs on our website: https://www.cqu.edu.au/courses-and-programs

Applying to CQUni is easily done through our online application system, iStart unless you are choosing an agent to do this for you. You’ll find more information on this in on our website: https://www.cqu.edu.au/international-students/enquire-and-apply/apply

We have three terms per year, in March, July and November. We usually recommend you apply three months in advance to allow enough time to apply for your student visa and plan your trip to Australia. If your application is successful, you will be issued with an offer letter. Once you accept and pay your tuition fees, you will get a COE. You will need this COE to apply for your student visa. You can find more information on applying for a student visa on the Australia Government Department of Immigration and Boarder Protection website: http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Stud

The next step is to arrive in Australia and enrol in your courses before classes start. There is also a compulsory Orientation, which will introduce you to campus you have chosen and give you important information for your studies.
Hope this information helps and if you need more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch again.

      Thanks,

      Deirdre, CQUni

  5. This is really helpful…and i will follow these procedures as i am interested in studying at CQUniversity.

  6. hi, i am Rishikesh Basnet as international student and enrolled in sydney campus for Master of Managements For Engineers and i want to write blogs

    1. Hi Rishikesh
Thanks for your interest in blogging for CQUni. At the moment, we are not recruiting any student bloggers but may post a recruitment call for bloggers right here on CQUniLife in the future. I will keep your interest on file. Thanks again for your interest and wish you all the best in your studies at CQUni Sydney.
      Regards
      Evonne, CQUni

  7. How can i apply for a blogging position? Im a full time, domestic student via distant education.

  8. Hello,
I believe I can contribute in making students aware of the CQU services that I have helpful throughout my studies. My blog is all about getting through the world wind, particularly studies while keeping up with other commitments as well. I am studying a bachelor of nursing.
    Thanks,
    Grace
