I’ve graduated. Now what?

Did you know the support CQUniversity offers to students continues after you graduate? Below are a few ways you can take advantage of this support.

1. Update your details

If you want to keep informed about CQUni events and opportunities (including workshops and grants for professional development, reunions and more) ensure you keep your CQUni details updated.

We recommend registering a personal email address rather than work email address, so you remain connected throughout your career.

2. Get career support

Make your plans

Have you given more planning to your latest holiday than your career? Plan your career or determine your career direction through free career counselling with our Careers Team.

Talk to an expert

Hundreds of CQUni alumni have signed up to our online mentoring program, CQUni Career Connection, and are waiting to give you advice. The program is online meaning you can participate no matter your location.

3. Proudly call yourself a CQUni alumnus

I’m a what? An alumnus (pronounced a-lum-nus). It’s a fancy word for graduate, and it’s fitting because you are now a fancy graduate. Be proud of your alumni (plural of alumnus) status, and update your CQUniversity Australia education on your LinkedIn profile.

4. Chase your career dreams

We’re always keen to share the wonderful achievements and impacts of our alumni. Whatever your career goals are, as one of our graduates, we’re excited to watch your career progress. We’ll be cheering you on the whole way, so keep us updated: we’d love to know the goals you’re kicking.

Find out more about what it means to be an alumnus in our graduate brochure Welcome to your Alumni Membership.

5. Don’t forget to register for graduation
