Have you been hibernating this winter?

Being in Melbourne, you will know winter is truly here but you haven’t been hibernating, right? Melbourne and its surrounding areas are made for winter!

Mount Baw Baw, Lake Mountain, Mount Stirling and Mount Buller are so close to Melbourne, they are perfect for short trips or week-long holidays in the mountains.

My first trip to the snow was to Mt Buller. It is just three hour drive from Melbourne. It is a beautiful mountain and a great experience for skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing for the beginners like me. You just need to have your own goggles, gloves and the right clothing to keep you warm and dry. You can also rent clothes and equipment on the way to the mountain, there are plenty of places for hiring.

As soon you arrive, you will love Mt Buller. It doesn’t matter whether you look left or right, there are beautiful views to be had in every direction. Also, you will never forget the experience of learning how to ski or snowboard. I can guarantee that it is stress-free place where you can enjoy with your mates and forget the stress of study. So, my recommendation for this winter is keep calm and go skiing!
