How my CQUni study made me leave my comfort zone

Just over three years ago, I sat down at my desk job, unmotivated, searching for passion, searching for meaning, but most of all searching for change. I had only been in the field for 3 years, but I knew it wasn’t me, it wasn’t a journey that I really wanted to pursue. In two short weeks, I had jumped completely out of my comfort zone, resigned and applied for a Master of Teaching (Primary) course through CQUni. Shining with SUN

My name is Zali Garioch and I am currently 17 years old. I graduated from Mirani State High School in 2016 and I commenced full-time study at CQUniversity in 2017. I participated in the Start Uni Now (SUN) course during 2015 and 2016 and successfully completed a total of four Bachelor of Education (Secondary) units. Dedication to Education

My name is Taylor O’Leary. As of 2014 I became enrolled in the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). I applied at CQUniversity as a school leaver in 2013 and originally studied psychology and health in the Bachelor of Arts course.

During this time, my mum was studying her education degree (first year) and I realised that I felt more passionately about her assignments than my own, so changed my career path to education. I am now proudly in my final year of the Bachelor of Education.
