The Easter break is almost here. CQUni study locations will have altered opening hours from Friday, 2 April to Monday, 5 April 2021.
All campuses will be closed on the Good Friday and Easter Monday public holidays.
The following campuses will be closed with no after-hours access on Good Friday and Easter Monday, but open for after-hours access as usual on Saturday and Sunday:
- Brisbane
- Sydney
- Melbourne.
The following campuses will be closed with no after-hours access for the full Easter break from 2 – 5 April:
- Mackay City
- Emerald
- Rockhampton City.
For other campuses, any after-hours spaces, including most libraries will be available via swipe card access only and open for Sunday hours on Good Friday and Easter Monday, and normal hours for Saturday and Sunday.

Support services will be unavailable from 2 – 5 April, including the 13 27 86 and 1300 666 620 CQUni helplines.
Campuses will open as normal and full services will resume on Tuesday, 6 April.
Keep an eye on your student email and join the Facebook group for your local campus for further advice.

Hi - Not really sure where to leave this comment about the Library After Hours opening times/access for Easter therefore leaving it here.
As a Part Time Student and a full time employee, I utilize all the library time I can get to study and get my assignments done. It is the best environment for me to stay on top of my work due to the reliability of computers and access to printers - which I don’t have at home. I live in Rockhampton and see that there is no after hours access for students, even with a swipe. I was looking forward to using this time to get me in a good space moving forward. Is there any way this can be reconsidered or even provide some rationale for this. I am sure there are many students in the same boat as there are always students in the library when I am studying after hours.

Rockhampton North library is definitely accessible over the Easter weekend via swipe card 5 am to midnight each day:
- Friday, April 2 open unstaffed – swipe card only 5:00 am to midnight
- Saturday, April 3 open unstaffed – swipe card only 5:00 am to midnight
- Sunday. April 4 open unstaffed – swipe card only 5:00 am to midnight
- Monday. April 5 open unstaffed – swipe card only 5:00 am to midnight

If you are talking about Rockhampton City, we don’t have unstaffed access - we cannot provide unstaffed access to the library at that campus because that library space is not set up to allow it.
