CQUniversity’s graduate outcomes continue to go from strength to strength – with results from the Employer Satisfaction Survey (ESS) emphasising the preparedness of CQUniversity graduates for the workforce.
Employers are highly satisfied with graduates from CQUniversity – 87% expressed overall satisfaction with their graduates, making CQUniversity the eighth-ranked University in Australia for graduate satisfaction.
Graduates from CQUniversity were also ranked highly in technical ability, with employers reporting a 95 percent overall satisfaction of our graduates for this skill, again within the top eight universities in Australia.
Run as part of the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT), the ESS is an important measure of employer satisfaction and success across all Australian universities.
The survey provides information about the quality of education provided at Australian institutions, asking supervisors to provide feedback about the generic skills, technical skills and work readiness of the graduate employed in their workplace.
The Australian-government-funded results were released in January 2020 and provide a transparent snapshot of Australia’s higher education institutions from the perspective of employers between 2017-2019.
