So you’re back from the mid-term break, and you might be finding it hard to focus and keep track of your studies.
Let us help you get back into the swing of things and find your inspiration with UCROO!
Time is of the essence
We know…after a break (even if it wasn’t long enough!) it’s hard to become motivated and get back into routine, but there’s some good news! It’s now easier for you to stay ahead of your studies thanks to UCROO.
CQUni recommends that you study 10-12 hours per week for each unit, to make sure you are on top of things. UCROO has a handy feature to help you out with this – the Study Timer.
It’s easy! Before you begin studying, kick off the Study Timer by clicking the icon on the top bar that looks like a stop watch. Pro tip: don’t forget to come back and stop it before you move on to the next thing.
Instead of falling behind in your studies, use the Study Timer to make sure you are kicking those study goals.
Connect to a Study Group
Feeling lost in your studies and not sure where to turn? Need to ask a question but don’t know who to ask?
Study Groups on UCROO offer support through-out the term and allow you to connect with and learn from your peers, no matter where they are.
You can see suggested study groups based on your subjects and connections, and you can also find them by unit, degree or location. Just use the search bar after you select ‘Study’ from the left-hand side menu on UCROO.
Facebook minus the distractions
You can stay up-to-date and find some inspiration through the All Students Feed.
This is the place where you can see posts from peers across Australia (and even overseas) about the latest entertainment, news, support and the happenings of CQUni – exactly like Facebook, but without all the extra distractions.
See something interesting? You can even search the feed for posts that you’ve seen (instead of using the never-ending scroll method).
If you haven’t joined UCROO – CQUniversity’s digital campus - it only takes two minutes. Just head to www.cquniversity.ucroo.com.au and you’ll be on your way.
Not sure how to navigate your way around UCROO? The UCROO Student Guide is here to help.
See you on UCROO!
