Have you heard about OneDrive? OneDrive is Microsoft’s secure cloud storage service which allows you to store, share and collaborate files across CQUniversity and personal devices. No USB’s required! At CQUni, students are provided free access to OneDrive while they are studying.
Why use OneDrive?
OneDrive provides online access to all the files you have saved in OneDrive across multiple devices both on and off campus. Other benefits include:
- Office 365 apps (like Word and PowerPoint) will autosave as you work
- You can share files and documents with others to collaborate on at the same time
- 1TB of storage
In addition to this, from 27 February, we’re turning on OneDrive Sync. Currently, when you save a file on your desktop, ‘Documents’ or ‘Pictures’ folders on a CQUni computer it is only available on that one computer. From 27 February, OneDrive sync will automatically back this up for you to OneDrive so you will be able to access it from any CQUni computer in the same place you saved it or log into OneDrive on a personal device to access the file from home.
