The activities you get involved in at university have a huge impact on your life. With so many opportunities available, we asked our student experts (CQUni graduates and staff) to share the CQUni activities that help you make the most of your time at uni and have the biggest impact on your life.
The result is a 60 item bucket list, filled with activities that can set you up for success in your studies and after graduation. There are many benefits to completing these activities; making new friends, learning new things, enjoying university life and knowing you made the most of your study experience are just a few.
We challenge you to complete as many as you can throughout your studies and share your adventures using #CQUniBucketList.
Some of the activities you can complete include:

8. Get a High Distinction on an exam or assignment
You might be a student who fiercely strives for a HD on every assessment piece, or you may be easy breezy with a ‘P’s get degrees’ mentality. Whatever type of student you are, strive to achieve a HD on at least one exam or assignment throughout your degree.
14. Support a fundraising event on your campus
Go to a morning tea or a sausage sizzle. Support your campus events!
18. Stay Active
Participate in sport through UniSport Nationals, CQUniMoves, or sport of choice (social or competitive).
29. Expand your horizons
Get to know students from at least two other countries. At CQUni, we have students who come from all walks of life around the world. There are 115 countries represented in our student cohort! That makes it super easy to find at least two people who come from a different country and have had a different upbringing and experiences to you.

40. Use the library (and librarians)!
Let’s face it, you’ll never have access to this many free books again! The Library (on-campus or online) is the place to access not only books but online research skills and resource guides and an extensive collection of online journal articles and eBooks. Explore the Library today.
43. Complete an assignment one week before it’s due
I did this probably once in my four years at Uni, and wow was it a great feeling – I don’t know why I didn’t do it more often.

50. Study overseas (for a week, a term or year)
By far one of the coolest things you can do at CQUni is study overseas! CQUGlobal Outbound programs allow current CQUniversity students to experience life and study from a choice of over 30 countries across six continents!
58. Take a photo of yourself on your first and last day at Uni, in the same spot
Capturing the moments of your uni life is important. On your first day of university, take a photo of yourself on campus. Fast forward a few years after all the hard work, take the time to reflect on your journey with another photo.
60. Make someone’s day
Leave a nice note in a library book for a future student to find
Download the CQUni Bucket List and start checking off these goals today to become the most studious (and impressive) CQUni student! If you achieve these, we and your fellow students will be impressed, so boast about it all day long by tagging #CQUniBucketList.
