Whether you’re a new student interested in part-time/casual work, or you are coming to the end of your degree or qualification and want to know more about full-time employment opportunities, there will be something for you at the 2018 Careers Fair.

Here’s what you need to know…

All students can participate

Students from all year levels and all courses are invited to attend the Careers Fair - including VET students. If you’re not located in Rockhampton, you can still participate online through Career Hub. Once you have signed in, visit the Careers Fair 2018 event page. From here, you can also submit your resume to be reviewed by one of our ‘Resume Doctor’ employers.

For those of you not located in Rockhampton - this year we will be hosting online Careers Fairs so you can all get involved! Click on your relevant Schools’ Careers Fair and ‘Book In’ a spot today!

Hosted online in Week 3 of Term these virtual careers fairs give you the opportunity to meet with different employers allocated into rooms. You will be able to visit each of the rooms (virtually) and interact directly with the employer.

I am a CQUni alumnus, who graduated back in 2010. Straight after graduating, I took a job in media, and later returned to CQUni working full-time as Student Communications Assistant. I remember all too well the panic fuelled ‘all-nighters’, getting lost on campus, confusion over systems, and the general feeling of being unsure. I'm excited to share my experiences and provide some insights into university life.
