Why it’s important to update your contact details

Your contact details allow us to communicate with you throughout your time as a CQUni student. During your studies, your details may change and it’s important to let us know when this happens. Here’s why…

Whether you are on campus or off campus undertaking University related activities, need to receive financial notices, general student advice or to comply with set conditions of an international student visa; it is vital that your personal contact details are current.

Your contact details include things like your home address, mobile or home phone number, and personal email. CQUniversity values the safety of our students, and in the case of any emergency, it’s also vital that your emergency contact’s details are kept up-to-date.

Our official and primary method of communicating with you will always be your CQUni student email account. However, from time to time, we may need to send a text message, call or send a letter via snail mail. So please ensure your details are up to date.

I am a CQUni alumnus, who graduated back in 2010. Straight after graduating, I took a job in media, and later returned to CQUni working full-time as Student Communications Assistant. I remember all too well the panic fuelled ‘all-nighters’, getting lost on campus, confusion over systems, and the general feeling of being unsure. I'm excited to share my experiences and provide some insights into university life.
