We asked Jenna, a CQUni Student Engagement officer, some questions about the Student Café and why students should get involved.
Here is what she had to say…
Hello! My name is Jenna – I’m one of the Student Engagement Officers based on the Melbourne campus.
I have been working at CQUni for almost two years now. One of the best parts of my job is interacting with and supporting students. I especially enjoy working with our international students, helping them along their education journey in Australia and at CQUni.
Tell us a bit about Student Café.
The Student Café is an initiative that the Student Engagement Team has coordinated for several years now. It is a series of on-campus and online informative workshops. We provide useful tips and tricks that help students with studying and managing university life. We also introduce students to a variety of our support teams and staff.
Why should students attend/What are the benefits?
The Student Café is a great place for new and continuing students to meet, greet and become friends. We talk about useful things to enhance your learning and student experience.
It doesn’t matter if you are in your first term or very last term, you can always learn some new things and have fun at our Student café sessions.
What can students expect from the workshops?
On-campus students can expect to meet other students and staff and enjoy some FREE snacks and refreshments. Online students can meet students and see what the different campuses look like.
How can students access the workshops?
