Do you want to share your experiences as a current first year student, ask questions and meet new friends? Join a virtual coffee catchup session with an experienced student mentor!
Coffee Catchups are a new student mentor initiative hosted each term. Student Mentors will be running daily “drop in” sessions which you can join for a chat, ask questions, or just feel like you are not on your own with this (you are so not on your own).
We’ll run meditation sessions, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), visualization sessions – to help us all get through this together.
If anyone needs more support or some help adjusting to 100% online – we are here for you! Keep reading to find out when you can join in on a session!
Sessions will be hosted daily and anyone can access this by using this Zoom link: https://cqu.zoom.us/j/592088826
Drop In Time – 10am – 11am (AEST)
Self Care Time – 2pm – 3pm (AEST)
For online sessions students are encouraged to find a nice quiet place to attend the sessions as this will help get the best out of the study group. Also, try to have a camera and microphone available as interaction and participation during the sessions is really important to feeling engaged and supported, and will help build networks with like-minded people.
