‘Get it Together’ with the Library and ALC

Each term, the CQUni Library hosts a series of ‘Get it Together’ study sessions across different campuses. In Term 3, from Monday, 19 November to Friday, 23 November 2018, sessions are being held across our Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne locations and online.

These sessions are a great opportunity to meet the experts, seek advice, and find out how to improve your results. We encourage you to attend and here’s why…

#1 Advice from the experts

If you’re struggling with an assessment item, or just want some guidance, this is the perfect opportunity to ask our Library or Academic Learning Centre (ALC) staff who will be there to answer your questions. We can help with skills for essay writing, referencing, research skills, report formats, and exam prep.

#2 Attend from wherever you are

Don’t live near campus? Got a work shift when your campus event is on? We understand there are many reasons that you might not be able to make it. That’s why we host online sessions outside of regular business hours, we don’t want you to miss out! Log in using Zoom from wherever you are to access the information sessions. Haven’t used Zoom before? Check the instructions here.

I am a CQUni alumnus, who graduated back in 2010. Straight after graduating, I took a job in media, and later returned to CQUni working full-time as Student Communications Assistant. I remember all too well the panic fuelled ‘all-nighters’, getting lost on campus, confusion over systems, and the general feeling of being unsure. I'm excited to share my experiences and provide some insights into university life.
