Three reasons why you should complete the SES

CQUniversity is again participating in the national Student Experience Survey (SES). If you’re currently studying, check your student email account to see if you’ve been selected as part of the sample.

We strongly encourage students to participate in this voluntary survey.

Here’s why…

#1 There’s prizes on offer

Participants have the chance to enter the weekly prize draw to win a share of $8,000 pre-paid VISA gift cards. Prize draws take place at the end of each week over the four week survey period, and the total prize draw is valued at $32,000.

Tip: Complete the survey early to increase your chances of winning!

Terms and conditions apply. Visit for more information.

#2 Improve the student experience

The results of the SES will help us to improve the student experience at CQUniversity and the quality of teaching and learning for current and future students.

#3 You CAN make a difference

Based on feedback from past surveys, a range of initiatives and improvements have already been made. These include:

  • introducing Studiosity for after-hours academic assistance
  • Moodle upgrade
  • course and unit specific online tutorials and resources now provided by the Academic Learning Centre; and
  • improvements to digital technology and classroom equipment.

Don’t miss this opportunity to have your voice heard!

Students randomly selected will receive an email invitation with a link to the online questionnaire. Find your login details in the email invitation, and complete the survey by visiting

Ashleigh Truscott (

I am a CQUni alumnus, who graduated back in 2010. Straight after graduating, I took a job in media, and later returned to CQUni working full-time as Student Communications Assistant. I remember all too well the panic fuelled ‘all-nighters’, getting lost on campus, confusion over systems, and the general feeling of being unsure. I'm excited to share my experiences and provide some insights into university life.
