What’s new?
Highlights include –
- A fresh look and feel with the same great features
- Moodle is now mobile-friendly
- Moodle ‘My Home’ is now called ‘Dashboard’
You will notice you have an updated Profile page, which can be accessed at the top-right of the Dashboard.
We expect you’ll find this update easy to use, and that you’ll have no problem locating all the standard Moodle features. For help resources and more information on new features, visit Moodle Help for Students.
If you do require some assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 1300 666 620 or at tasac@cqu.edu.au.
Can you PLEASE STOP CONSTANTLY CHANGING the online course format/profile. Yeah, its nice and all that your updating stuff…but seriously its changed so many times that I’m constantly having to re-familiarise myself with the system every term. Im sick of it CQU!
We appreciate your feedback, and understand your frustration.
Although the look of the site will change, it will still have the standard Moodle features you are used to. For assistance once the update is live, Moodle Help for Students is a great resource – https://moodle.cqu.edu.au/course/view.php?id=992

When will the courses for term 1 actually be available. Given it is now within the two weeks prior to start of term?
Hi Stacey, there has been a delay to the release of some Moodle units due to the recent Moodle upgrade. Staff are working to finalise these units as quickly as possible. We are expecting outstanding units to be available on Monday, 27 February, and would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards, Mae (CQUni)
