Studying made easier with extended library hours

Students at CQUniversity Sydney library

Good news, the CQUniversity library have extended their opening hours during Term 2!

With much research to be done for upcoming assignments, this will make student life much easier. And this is not just limited to having access to books, but the large amount of electronic materials as well.

One of my favourite parts of the library at CQUniversity Sydney are the study rooms where I spend much of my time. It is a well designed area and I love it as it is quiet, private area that is separate from the other zones.  Also, as many of my assignments involve group work, it offers a space where group members can share their ideas.

With the opening hours extended to a Saturday, I find this very convenient as it provides me with another option to balance my week. The library also provides the perfect study atmosphere over the weekend and away from any distractions (especially if you don’t have a suitable study spot at home!). I highly recommend studying here as seeing other students doing the same very motivating!

From 18 July to 17 October, the extended library hours are:

  • Monday to Friday: open until 8 pm (from Week 6)
  • Saturday: 10 am to 1 pm

For the following campuses: Mackay Oorlea, Rockhampton North, Bundaberg, Gladstone Marina, Noosa, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

You can also check out the library homepage on the opening hours for your campus. Happy studying!
